    Christmas is approaching, and what could be cozier than doing crafts with the kids? Here we have collected 7 simple and fun Christmas crafts suitable for young children. They're playful, Christmassy and don't require a lot of materials. Perfect for making memories together in the December darkness!

    Santa Claus figurines made of toilet paper rolls

    Materials: Toilet paper rolls, colored paper, glue, scissors, cotton and crayons.

    Do this:

    1. let the child paint or cover the toilet roll in red paper.
    2. Cut out a Santa hat from paper and attach to the top of the roll.
    3. glue on some cotton wool as beard and hair.
    4. Draw eyes and nose with crayons or marker.

    A simple Christmas craft that can become a whole family of Santas!

    Handprints as Christmas cards

    Materials: Cardboard paper, paint, brush.

    Do this:

    1. Paint the palm of the child's hand with green paint and print it on a piece of paper to create the shape of a Christmas tree.
    2. Let it dry and decorate the tree with colorful dots (Christmas balls) and a yellow star at the top.
    3. write a greeting and give it as a Christmas card to your loved ones.

    Christmas balls with glitter

    Materials: Transparent plastic balls, glitter, glue and string.

    Do this:

    - Let the child pour glitter into a transparent plastic ball.
    - Add some glue to make the glitter stick.

    Materials: Air-drying clay, gingerbread molds, paint, string.

    1. Roll out the clay and press out shapes with gingerbread molds.
