She goes to Copenhagen to get help from a clinic, where she chooses an open sperm donor, Mads (played by Joachim Fjelstrup), who she thinks seems perfect! She secretly visits Mads the day before the insemination, and he turns out to be a normal, kind and friendly Dane. After the insemination, Eva goes home to Stockholm happy. What she doesn't know is that Mads hasn't been able to let go of her since their meeting in a bar in Copenhagen. Unaware that Eva is pregnant with his child, he decides to visit her in Stockholm and suddenly life becomes complicated, while Eva's lies escalate with her growing belly.
