Baby Journey's next move - supporting parents in Europe up to 5 years old

Parents' companion to the last visit to the childcare center - this is Baby Journey's next big move in its vision to support and reassure parents during the toddler years, when the app is expanded to be used up to the age of 5. With this launch, Baby Journey positions itself not only as the most comprehensive player in Sweden but also as the first of its kind across Europe. 

Baby Journey, founded by Michaela Forni and others, is now taking the next big step as a baby tech company. As the first and only app in its category, they are launching content and digital support that extends all the way up to the age of 5. Previously, the app covered parents' needs from pregnancy up to the age of 2 - but now users can follow their child's development right up to the age of 5.

It has been developed in close collaboration with pediatric nurses and is based on the latest research on child health and development. This means that parents of young children can access relevant and personalized information, reminders and age-appropriate tips throughout the baby and preschool years. For Baby Journey, which is currently the leading pregnancy and parenting app in the Nordics, this launch is a natural next step. 

  • Our users spend an extreme amount of time with us until their child reaches the age of 2. In dialog with healthcare professionals and based on user data, we have seen that our digital platform can fill many needs even during the entire BVC journey, and then we will do it. It also makes the offer to our partners stronger as we can help them process this target group for very many years, and thus really become part of everyday life of families with children, says Michaela Forni. 

With the launch, Baby Journey is positioning itself as the first of its kind in Europe. Something that will of course be an important piece of the puzzle in the expansion journey it is on. In the last six months, the app has launched in markets such as the UK and Germany. 

- We have long felt that we have taken many steps away from the classic apps in our category, and with this development in the app, we are taking another step that sets us apart from other apps. Our goal is to be there for parents throughout the first phase of parenthood - not just during pregnancy and babyhood.
