    Har du fått mycket halsbränna sedan du blev gravid? Halsbränna upplevs ofta som en svidande, brännande smärta bakom bröstbenet och är vanligt under graviditeten.

    I magsäcken finns en skyddande miljö för den sura magsaft som bryter ner maten. Magmunnen, som sitter i toppen av magsäcken, hjälper att stänga till för att förhindra att maginnehåll tillsammans med magsaft tränger upp i matstrupen. I matstrupen finns inte den skyddande miljö som finns i magsäcken. Om magmunnen inte är tillräckligt effektiv, vilket kan inträffa vid graviditet, så finns det risk för att det sura innehåller tränger upp i matstrupen. Det upplevs ofta som smärtsamt.

    Varför får jag lättare halsbränna under graviditet?

    Under graviditet så påverkas magmunnen av graviditetshormonerna och därför får du lättare halsbränna när du är gravid. Mot senare delen av graviditeten blir det dessutom ett ökat tryck uppåt i kroppen av den växande livmodern, och på så sätt påverkar även fysiken den ökade risken för att magmunnen inte lyckas hålla helt tätt. Som tur är så finns det flera tips mot halsbränna för dig som gravid!

    Hur lindrar jag halsbränna när jag är gravid?

    Om du är gravid och hr halsbränna så kan du försöka äta i små portioner, så att magsäcken hinner med. Andra tips mot halsbränna för dig som gravid är att inte äta för sent på kvällen. Det finns också viss mat som lättare kan ge en extrem halsbränna för dig som gravid:

    • Syrlig mat som innehåller vinäger eller ättika
    • Kryddstark mat
    • Juicer
    • Kaffe

    En del upplever att de får mer besvär av halsbränna vid stress, även om det inte finns några vetenskapliga samband. Det finns receptfria läkemedel att köpa på apoteket som kan hjälpa, men rådfråga först din barnmorska om du upplever halsbränna, och vilket typ av läkemedel som kan vara aktuellt för just dig.
