    Recipes for breakfast for baby (6-8 months)

    Are you lacking breakfast inspiration? Here are two yummy breakfast recipes for baby, perfect to serve from 6-8 months.

    Oatmeal is a classic that is appreciated by adults and children alike. What's more, it can be varied endlessly with different spices and fruits. Feel free to add a dash of rapeseed oil as a source of Omega-3, and/or some mixed pumpkin seeds that contain a lot of iron. Have you tried the avocado and banana combination? It's delicious and perfectly soft for the little ones! To top it off, avocados contain high-quality fat. Together with yogurt, this mix is a perfectly adapted breakfast for baby.

    Oatmeal with apple and cinnamon

     

     

    Ingredients:
    - 2 tbsp oatmeal (whole or mixed)
    - 1/2 cup milk (adjust consistency as needed)
    - 1 apple, peeled, cored and finely grated
    - A pinch of cinnamon

    Do this:
    1. boil the oatmeal in the milk until soft and of the desired consistency.
    2. Stir in the finely grated apple and cinnamon.
    3. Allow the porridge to cool to a safe temperature before serving.

    Note! Be sure to adjust the consistency of the food based on your child's needs and preferences. All ingredients should be finely chopped and pureed.

    Avocado mash with yogurt and pureed banana

     

     

    Ingredients:
    - 1 or ½ ripe avocado
    - 2 tbsp unsweetened yogurt
    - 1 banana, mashed

    Do this:
    1. Mash the ripe avocado and mix it with unsweetened yogurt.
    2. Purée a banana and mix it with the avocado mixture.
    3. Serve the avocado and banana mixture as a kind of mushy "avocado mash."

    Note! Be sure to adjust the consistency of the food based on your child's needs and preferences. All ingredients should be finely chopped and pureed.
