    Boring to play = bad parent?

    Du vill helst avsluta leken och lägga dig på soffan framför din favoritserie – är det okej att känna så? Ja! Att alltid ha roligt när man leker är ett omöjligt mål att sträva efter.

    Tycker du att det är tråkigt att leka med ditt barn?

    Vetskapen om hur viktig man som förälder är för barnet och hur viktig leken är för barnets utveckling kan för en del föräldrar väcka känslor av otillräcklighet och skuld, särskilt om man känner att man tycker det är tråkigt att leka. Kanske tänker man att man borde leka mer, bättre eller på ett annat sätt. En del har svårt för att veta hur man ska leka med sitt barn.

    Föräldraskapet kommer med många nya områden och det finns ingen förälder som inte upplever utmaningar och kämpar med någon del. Det innebär inte att vi är dåliga föräldrar! Det kan vara bra att påminna sig om att det inte finns en perfekt förälder. Vi gör vårt bästa och bör sträva efter att vara tillräckligt bra, inte mer.

    Barns lek förändras i snabb takt allt eftersom de utvecklas och många föräldrar kan uppleva att leken är tråkig under en period för att sedan kännas mer givande när barnet blivit äldre.

    Lek kan se ut på många sätt, det viktigaste är att få stunder då du umgås tillsammans med barnet. Kanske har ni redan sådana stunder även om du tidigare inte sett dem som lek? Känner du att det är svårt att veta hur du ska leka kan du försöka observera ditt barn när hon eller han leker, sätta ord på vad barnet gör och försöka följa barnets initiativ i leken.

    Slutord: Det går att leka med sitt barn fast det känns tråkigt och det betyder inte att du är en dålig förälder.
