    Chocolate mousse made with avocado

Diana Gran shares her amazing recipe for chocolate mousse made with avocado, cocoa, honey and vanilla. A creamy mousse with lots of chocolate flavor while being full of nutrients that are super good for you as a pregnant woman.

Recipe for chocolate mousse made from avocado

    For 2 persons
Cooking time: about 5 minutes and 30 minutes for cooling

    Ingredients:
    2 ripe avocados
    3 tablespoons of cocoa
    3 tablespoons of honey
1 vanilla pod or 1 bag of vanilla sugar
Possibly a small splash of strong coffee for mocha flavor.

    Suggestions for topping:
    Salted peanuts or other nuts
    Flint salt
    Granola
    Melted dark (70%) chocolate

    Do this:
    1. Mix all ingredients with a hand blender until smooth
    2. Pour into two bowls and add any topping
    3. Chill in the refrigerator. (I put the mousse in the freezer for 30 minutes, it's even better then. The mousse should be eaten very cold).

Three healthy ingredients for pregnant women:

cocoa In its pure form, cocoa is a very good food for pregnant women as it contains vitamin B and minerals that are good for the body. Good to keep in mind is that cocoa contains a small amount of caffeine. Remember to follow the Swedish National Food Agency's advice regarding caffeine intake.

Avocado contains folic acid which is important in early pregnancy. Avocados are high in iron, which is a good alternative to meat. It is also high in minerals, vitamins and healthy fats. In addition, avocados contain choline, which is important for the baby's brain and nervous system development.

honey is said to help with heartburn, which is common during pregnancy. Be careful not to heat honey, as it loses its beneficial nutrients. Honey is also said to be a natural remedy for pollen allergies.
