    Efter att du plussat på stickan är du säkerligen nyfiken på när bebisen är beräknad att komma till världen. Det datum din bebis beräknas födas kallas för BF och står för beräknad förlossning. Det kan vara krångligt att förstå hur man kan beräkna förlossningsdatum, för det finns vissa aspekter att ta hänsyn till. Låt oss guida dig genom dem! 

    Att räkna ut bf är viktigt av flera skäl: Det hjälper dig att planera och förbereda dig för din bebis ankomst och ger dig en tydlig tidsram för att följa utvecklingen av din graviditet. För vården är det också nödvändigt, bland annat för att kunna se att ditt barn följer tillväxtkurvan i rätt takt.

    Räkna ut bf – så gör du

    Det finns flera sätt att beräkna förlossningsdatum, men det mest använda och noggranna sättet är att ta reda på din sista menstruations första dag och räkna utifrån den. När du har ditt datum för första dagen av din senaste menstruation, lägger du bara till 280 dagar. Den genomsnittliga längden på en graviditet är nämligen 280 dagar (ca 40 veckor). Datumet du får fram, är datumet för din beräknade förlossning. Om det känns krångligt att räkna själv vill vi tipsa om att använda vår pregnancy calculator.

    Det är viktigt att komma ihåg att datumet för din beräknade förlossning är en uppskattning av när förlossningen kan ske. Det är omöjligt att veta exakt när din förlossning kommer sätta igång, om du inte har en planerad förlossning med exempelvis kejsarsnitt. Din barnmorska kommer att följa utvecklingen av din graviditet och justera ditt beräknade förlossningsdatum om det behövs.

    Andra metoder för att räkna ut bf

    Det finns andra metoder för att räkna ut bf, som ultraljudsundersökningar och speciella formler. De här metoderna brukar användas av barnmorskan tidigt i graviditeten om du har en oregelbunden cykel. Senare under graviditeten, i vecka 18, gör man ett ultraljud som kallas RUL (rutinultraljud), och då kan ditt bf komma att ändras.

    Genom att räkna ut ditt BF får du en indikation på när din bebis kommer, men behöver inte vara det exakta datumet för förlossningen. Bebisen kan komma både innan eller efter detta datum, men framförallt när din bebis och din kropp är redo.
